Terms of Service

By using Canopy ("the Service"), provided by Mynt Pte Ltd ("Mynt", "we", "us"), you agree to these Terms of Service. Canopy is licensed to schools and made available to their authorised parents, staff, and volunteers.

1. Eligibility & accounts

• You may use Canopy only if your school has provisioned an account for you.
• You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for activity on your account.
• You must promptly notify your school administrator of any unauthorised use of your account.

2. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Upload unlawful, harassing, defamatory, or copyright-infringing content;
• Attempt to access data belonging to other organisations or to users outside your role's permitted scope;
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or interfere with the operation of the Service;
• Use Canopy to send unsolicited bulk messages outside the broadcast and announcement features your school has enabled for your role.

3. Content you submit

You retain ownership of content you upload (messages, photos, documents). You grant Mynt a limited licence to store, process, and display that content solely for the purpose of operating Canopy for your school. Your school may set its own policies on retention and visibility of content.

4. Notifications & linked channels

Canopy can deliver notifications via push (when you install the mobile app and grant permission) and WhatsApp. You may unlink any of these channels at any time from your Profile settings.

5. Availability

We aim to keep Canopy available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may schedule maintenance or roll out updates that briefly affect availability.

6. Termination

Your school may suspend or revoke your access at any time. Mynt may suspend access where required to protect the Service or comply with the law. You may stop using Canopy at any time.

7. Disclaimer

Canopy is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mynt is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes through Canopy and update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use after a change indicates acceptance.
